The Club's Origin, 1998

The M&M Collectors Club is a non-profit organization created by collectors for collectors and is not associated with the Mars Corporation or any of its subsidiaries. The purpose of the club is to give collectors of M&M® memorabilia a method of making contact with others with a similar interest (member directory), to disseminate information about ways to find and obtain new items for collections (bi-monthly newsletter), and to find ways to enjoy their common hobby (national Convention and regional get-togethers).

The M&M Collectors Club was formed in the fall of 1998. It became organized after a number of collectors decided that a club dedicated to M&M® collectors was needed. Temporary officers were selected from the small but growing number of charter members.

The M&M Collectors Club is not affiliated with Mars, Incorprated nor is it sanctioned by Mars, Incorporated. It is an independent organization. M&Ms® is a registered trademark of Mars, Incorporated.
